MixxedFit is a people-inspired dance fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. MixxedFit is an excellent form of aerobic exercise that will get your heart rate up as you feel good energy radiating through your body as you move through the workout. Jade’s Throwback Hip-Hop Dance classes are high-energy and a great form of cardio as you learn choreography and dance to some of your favorite throwback jams from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s!

In this art-making session, Lindsey will lead you through creating a small book, allowing you to explore and depict your strengths and your superpowers. Participants need only to come with an open mind and active hands to combine images, colors and words as led by the facilitator. There will be the opportunity to discuss participants’ work and the artmaking process, along with how one can carry the session and final product back home with them as a source of future support. Join us to find the restorative power of making art with others!

With Audrey’s guidance, you’ll learn to use your mind to achieve the relaxed, yet highly focused state, known as self-hypnosis. This relaxed state is similar to that attained in meditation and prayer. Research shows that this therapeutic state of relaxation interrupts the stress response and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. In this relaxed state, people can change their perception of pain and possibly eliminate it, boost their immune, digestive, and reproductive systems, enhance higher cognitive thinking, and calm distressing emotions.

This workshop provides a safe and joyful space for healing and self-expression through the beauty of dance.
